Kia wanted to raise awareness of the 2012 Kia Rio and showcase the vehicles strong styling and unique features with target audience online and via mobile web.
VisualMax planned and produced the “Local Me Sweepstakes”, a UGC microsite which gave users the ability to “share the best of your city”, pinning to Google maps alongside local Yelp recommendations and Rio features. Kia Dealerships were also displayed with the UGC and Yelp content.
Living as a page on Kia Rio’s Facebook, and through a HTML5 optimized microsite for smart phone users, the campaign provided users the ability to enter for a chance to win, share on Facebook, and browse local recommendations submitted by their peers.
